I Have Everything I Need

And if you have Jesus in your heart and a Bible, you do too. Everything that I have is exactly what I need. Everything that I will ever have will be exactly what I need and I will get it exactly when I need it. Whatever I will never have is what I will never need. My flesh does not believe that I have everything I need, but the promise of God is that I do. There are things that my flesh does not want. But God knows that I need them and He gives them. Many times He takes things away that my flesh thinks I need. But my flesh is wrong. And so is yours.

Philippians 4:11: Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God. 19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 13:5: Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

1 Timothy 6:5: Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. 6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

Psalms 84:11: For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

James 1:17: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

2 Peter 1:3: According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

1 Thessalonians 5:18: In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Psalms 37:16: A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.

Proverbs 15:16: Better is little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure and trouble therewith.

Proverbs 16:8: Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.

Some of the things that my flesh would rather not have are the will of God, the guidance of God and His reproof, chastening and correction. But I need those things. When I am walking in my flesh I want things that God knows I do not need. When I am walking in the Spirit I know that He will provide everything I need and I am content with whatever He wants me to have.
